An experimental observational video highlighting distortion and visuals of everyday life.
This project came about when sorting through some old footage, most of which I had taken on my phone. Although not amazing quality, the admirable qualities of the footage I had collected came from nature, movement and color. I enjoyed the idea of using some animation and expressions to pixelate the footage at different degrees, almost to the point of becoming impossible to identify the images.
The sound design for this project is also composed by myself, using cyber and metallic sounds to harp on the pixelation of the images.
